Poll Shows Schundler in Last Minute Surge
A poll released Monday morning shows New Jersey Republican
gubenatorial candidate Bret Schundler rapidly closing the gap in
the race to catch up to his Democratic opponent, Jim McGreevey.

With just one day left in the campaign, the Quinnipiac College
survey has Schundler trailing McGreevey by just nine points, 48
to 39 percent.

While still a substantial deficit, the Schundler surge has cut
McGreevey's lead to nearly half of what it was in the survey's
Oct. 30 poll, putting the New Jersey Democrat below 50 percent
for the first time in recent days.

While Schundler has been campaigning nearly non-stop, a confident
McGreevey spent Sunday visiting his pregnant wife, who was
hospitalized as a precautionary measure. Asked whether he'd be
back on the campaign trail Monday a McGreevey spokesman said,
"We're taking it day by day."

For its latest survey, Quinnipiac interviewed 505 likely voters
by telephone from Oct. 29 to Nov. 4. The poll has a margin of
error of plus or minus 4.4

It cracks me up to no end to hear so many, who spend all their time hating the military now being so ignorant. 4 weeks and now they all have opinions. LOL!
