Re the New Olypus 5MP (E20?) and CF write time DPreview slates the camera for its poor write times, and small buffer (either would be bad but both together is not a good combination!) and points out its much slower than the Nikon 995 which is about a third the price, yet its the professional buying the E20 that is more likely to 'need' the speed. You are correct about the huge variability in performance, the new DP review allows you to arrange the data based on camera type and write or read type, and no one card comes out as best overall, though some of the bunch recently being sued by Sandisk do come out consistently amongst the top performers(dont recall their names at the moment).
