I only see a 25 pt cut for four reasons.

1) They finally got rates to come down dramatically when they elimated the 30 yr bond

2) Greenspan may need more ammo next year if the economy stays weak.

3) Greenspan has been more gradual in the past.

4) This latest rally on the Nasdaq has to have Greenspan a little worried about rallying too hard too soon. Will he want to throw a little cold water on this greed and speculation on the part of the longs?

Really low TRIN today

However, Naz Tick running about -100 and A/D line +562 at weakest of day. Zeev would call that I sign of divergence. I wouldn't want to be opening long positions expecting another rise or be chased from a short position today until we see reaction to CSCO report.
