John, It's Soldier Field, not the plural. >>You would think that, having Bears season tickets from the time I was a pup through the 1991 season, I would have noticed that. It's something like the Stanford Cardinal, vs. Cardinals, I guess. Re the Bears, I still think of them more as Sayers and Butkus rather than the Frij, McMahon, etc., who were there during their most recent championship team. Not old enough to have seen the old Papa Bear Monsters of the Midway. Tony
