Dear Tiger Paw: wow, I am a Floridian and a Republican but I gotta hand it to that guy, he sure knows how to blister someone!!! Frankly, since Florida relies so heavily on the sales tax and the contributions to same from our tourists obviously we are going to be hurt if the economy takes a severe plunge sufficient to cause people to forsake coming to our warmth in the winter. Should be a temporary thing though, unless climate patterns change, and we will very likely muddle through. I am OPPOSED to any talk of income tax as are most of us old timers here in Fla. JDN
