I'm reminded of George Carlan's old skit on the differences between baseball and football... but I digress...

I've always liked both baseball and football, but even baseball is not free of rule "tweaking" to sell tickets. A home run race seems to sell to the masses, whereas a pitcher's duel does not. I LIKE 1-0 games personally. I've been a Braves fan since roughly 1983... A good pitcher's duel is like a game of chess.

I used to watch pro football a lot when I was younger, now I much prefer college. College football teams have traditions, loyalties, and elements that you're not going to see on the pro turf.

I've never been a huge basketball fan... I like to play occasionally, but I can generally take or leave pro basketball. College is, again, better IMHO.

Soccer RULES... *ahem* Soccer is one of those games I've always enjoyed, and am very glad to see is getting more coverage.
