Kodiak, stop it, you're getting me psyched up to buy one again. You aren't a salesman for the local BMW dealer are you? Ed

Kodiak-
...and what would you make of me? I am a sometimes-delighted owner of a new SC 430 (the Lexus "hardtop convertible").

It only comes with an automatic so, both hands can remained employed doing something other than shifting. You know, like steering and adjusting my Hermes cap. (ggg) Lest you belittle the BMW too much, I will point out that while it is small and it is a girlie car, it does have some ooompf. 240 ponies are available. It ain't no Miata, not even in the same league.

Now, if BMW would only make the M5 with an automatic, I'd switch right back. (Traded in my 540 auto for the Lexus).
Roomy, comfortable and 396 snorting horses under the hood. Mmmmmmmm.
A bigger and faster M3, right John?
