It's possible that she was singled out at random and she misinterpreted the reason. Given her politics she may have been a bit touchy and overreacted. I would not read anything into this unless we see that a pattern is developing of people being denied access to the airlines because of their politics.

The diydrogen monoxide thing was a hilarious spoof, but let's keep in mind that intensely political people of any stripe can be taken in by jokesters. As Poet has already suggested, I'd rather not get into a tangential discussion here about the relative merits of the Green Party.
