I think that if Muslims fight between themselves during Ramadan, we surely should not treat that month more reverently than they do. Three Muslim countries attacked Israel on the holiest day of the year for the Israeli, apparently, it is accepted Muslim theory that one should exploit the enemy's weakness whatever the source. Frankly, the whole conflict with the Taliban should not be painted as a conflict with Muslims, it is a conflict with a group of terrorists, some of which, possibly a great majority are Muslims. Maybe Carlos is with them, and he sure is no Muslim, or anything, he is an atheist anarchist, if memory serves...

Not muslim -- but why should we care?? War is war --

I don't remember other folks wanting to give the the US a break on Christmas or Easter or Hanukah if there was fighting -- whole idea seems rather silly to me.

Boy, how we let our press be manipulated.

NO...we are simply retaliating to their acts...

however, Bin Laden and the Taliban want to create hate in the Muslim world towards the US... and I am sure they will try to exploit that even more during the month of Ramadhan... and I am sure that they will find plenty of ears listening and following... so, what else should we do...? we have to make our case to the Muslim world in particular... that is why I suggested that the media conducts interviews with known religious figures and have them broadcast over the same networks Bin Laden and his group use...

There is one commandment that God wanted all his children to know as they grew in wisdom and culture....not yet written into the Koran or the Bible , being somewhat
dated pieces of "imagination ".

It was called the ---->"Seperation of Church and State",
and Democracy!

;-)

These ignorant fundamentalist Taliban spokesman
with their squeaky high-pitched little neurotic voices have much
to learn , but probably to late for the brainwashing that even Mohammed (P-duh) never knew .

The "day of the Mullahs " is coming abruptly to an end .The
last reign of these self-important little scriptural
tyrants and the sham of their rule over the ignorant
by myths and fairytales and terror will be coming
to an end .

Iran will be the next to fall, that's why the Muslim
world is either ranting & raving ,
or deathly nervously quiete.

Change is in the wind and upon the sands ....

and it is something they all knew would happen sooner or
later . If there is a God he would never allow himself to be
frozen in a time~capsule by a bunch of ignorant fundamentalist fanatics.
Even the once mighty Islam , has something more to learn now and evolve into , in the 21rst century.

Time for Democracy is at hand ...the day of the Mullahs
is at an end . Keep your eyes on Iran , things might get
very interesting there
very soon .
