All I saw about her behavior in the article was this ~

“She was uncooperative during the screening process,” said American Eagle spokesman Kurt Iverson, who added that Oden reportedly would not stand still when security staff tried to wave a metal-detecting wand over her.

Not a word about huffy, or hostile, or provocative... things that are being assumed, or suggested here. It does, in fact, state that she was given more intensive screening, and suggests it was because of the manner, a now common one, in which she purchased her ticket.

And what is "not standing still"? Fidgeting? Rocking on one's feet? Pulling an arm away from someone who tried to take it? (and why should they need to? I almost always get scanned with the wand but I've never had a hand on me.)

And if one passes the screening, and one's luggage does, does being "uncopperative" (an oh-so-vague discription) warrant refusal of any flights?

It would comforting to think there was good reason to deny her a flight. That would make things seem less tense for the rest of us in regards to the prospect of people on duty to protect using that position to harrass.
