Bill,
Hi!!

RE: DELL back up above 43-45 area-MY THOUGHT!

Let's just hope that all the rates kick in along with the huge economic stimulus that our Congress should be pushing immediately to the corporations...IMO this could stop the layoffs and increase the sentiment in short time..Of course, I'm just copying Larry Kudlow's concepts...With this possible move up in corporate spending DELL's "boomer sooner land grab" will really become obvious to the investor...That customer relationship is something that DELL rarely loses...CPQ/HWP know this and I'm quite sure they don't anticipate winning back many...This IMO is why they may be touting their new goals to be a corporation that chases IBM...In essence; DELL can't be defeated let's try another kid on the block...With this possible scenario becoming obvious with EARNINGS to match...Well, there ya go Bill...I believe we may have that boom once again in the stock price...Thus, my reason for the keen interest in their market (theft) share this past quarter...

Best, Kemble

old re "Thought-your opinion pls-----or anybody else's-----"I am beginning to believe that DELL's goal may well be to by hook or crook get this "mutha" to go back above about $43.00 or so in order to negate their obligation to be PUT to ---a whole bunch of stock against which they sold PUTS over the past few years at higher strikes-simplist way to exit this huge problem is to just get DELL back up above 43-45 area-MY THOUGHT!"

43 - close enough. you're not alone in this assumption (couldn't tell it today, could you). if ala mustfalingo would quit trying to time the market and take out the small investor...Dell's their Vegas playboy
