MM, Oh, yeah, they're tough kids. <g> There is nothing wrong with junior college players, though community college is the pc term now. I would have gone to a jc first myself except they deep-sixed my application because I had to work out of town that summer and couldn't make my counselors appointment. Chabot College had too many applicants (height of the draft for Vietnam) and looked for any excuse to dump some. Fortunately, I had the grades and Cal State, Hayward was a new school needing students.

As far as Prop 48 goes, why not? They don't take special courses, so if they can compete for grades at Penn, athletics do count for something. If they aren't graduating, then Penn ought to dump the process.
