Let me backstroke. I just viewed the shockwave again and searched for it and it wasn't there. Yesterday I right-clicked the link and saved it to my desktop so I could see the actual filename and size and (I guess) that also stores a copy of the file in my temp folder...let me backstroke again...this time a copy was not sent to temp and the file I downloaded to the desktop is 7143kb. I'm clueless. Yesterday I did not dream up 6.97mb. That's what was listed while doing a search in some folder named Local? something/temp. When I chose to save target to disk this AM it took 1 second to download so I'm now going with your ram theory. If that's not correct, maybe someone can explain to me exactly what did happen.
