In a bear market, rallies fail, and often they fail at trendlines like the 200DMA. Conversely, in bull markets, dips often find support at those same longer-term moving averages. Are we in a bear market rally, or the start of a new bull market? I don't know, which is why I continue to incrementally sell into further strength (other stocks, not NTAP). Cisco says they, too, have seen the bottom in sales, and it's up from here. Just about everyone is saying, "things are terrible now, and won't get better till 2-3Q02, but then the fiscal stimulus/rate cuts/lower oil prices will cause a sharp improvement in business conditions."
