NV, I hope you're lucky enough to catch the highs if this is it. If we go above 1815, we could run to 1940 COMPX after a possible brief stop at 1850 and 1890 COMPX. If you're wrong, you could be wrong by anywhere from 100-180 Nasdaq points near term and 350-points over a longer period.

The risk/reward ratio favors the downside right now. At the very least we should re-trace half the rise from 1646 to 1801. At the most we could do a H&S drop to 1440-1450.

I hope you look at the technical indicators in addition to your "gut" feels.

I for one do not believe the Anthrax thing will have any macro effect on the market direction. They could add it to our cereal and it shouldn't affect where the market is going over the next 2-months.

By the way, I'm so sick of waiting in line for these bogus security checks that I'd rather save the time and take my chances on the planes. They are so inconsistent that they may as well just forget them.

I got by last week without even being checked due to confusion during a shift change as I went through.

I could take one of those glasses in first class, smash it, and cut everyone's throat if I wanted to. You could strangle people with your headphone cords (or shoelaces), and I'm pretty certain I could knock out some people with my laptop (especially the battery).

I also heard you can take knitting needles on a plane. They took away eyelash curlers, but not knitting needles.
Anyway, I guess when security asked me to take a drink from my Coke (thinking it was battery acid, which in fact it really is when you think about it) it seemed pretty random and stupid.

I also liked the line where the guy asked me to pull down my pants while he came around my backside with his wand.
I now know what it feels like to be in OZ (the HBO show).

Heck, I could take two pieces of flint and some hairspray and make a pretty decent blowtorch that would fit in my carry-on luggage.

Anyway, just a little venting here.

I also like the "random" security checks where they call off every Asian and Middle Eastern sounding name, and then throw in some Anglo-Saxon ones at the end to make it seem random. You'd think they'd make it a bit less obvious by mixing them up a bit.

By the way, I fit no profiles.

I think the anthrax thing is a red herring to market watchers in either market direction.

I dont think we have any chance of catching the Antrax criminals in the foreseeable future. I am looking for 1940 or thereabouts as it represents a 40 percent gain from the bottom..BWDIK...
