Re the container discussion, you're right to be scared. IMO Stephen Flynn, the guy whose ideas are discussed in the article Snowshoe just posted, is the most interesting person out there at the moment thinking about homeland security, and he's been mentioning the container issue for a while. He did a first-rate piece for Foreign Affairs a year ago that's available here: foreignaffairs.org I gather that he's got a follow-up piece, addressing what can and should be done about border security issues in the wake of Sept. 11, coming out in the next issue of Foreign Affairs as well. tekboy@livinginacontainersincethebubbleburst.com
