To: electrodude who wrote (37008 ) 11/6/2001 4:16:05 AM From: milesofstyles Respond to of 37746 i don't know what else to add to my prior post. in your second paragraph and some other recent posts, you appear to be looking for an agenda. i don't know that there is one. i'm not aware of sharcki charging for anything at this time. there are others in the room that have newsletters. its not a big deal to me. heck, i'd love to get paid for the work i put in at nite. thats half the work process that doesn't see any return until the next morning. i've traded enough to know what kind of setups i prefer without subscribing to anything. my methods are technically based. there are traders willing to pay for someone to perform the all nite searches for tomorrow's candidates. i believe those letters go for around 40 bucks. i can tell you from experience, its peanuts. consider, spending 4-6 hours a nite in search mode for tomorrow's plays. your saving a minimum 80 hours a month based on 20 trading days at a cost of 40 bucks...thats about 50c an hour in terms of a wage. certainly it could be lucrative with alot of subscribers, but when you think of it as your personal cost for someone to work for you, its 50c/hour to "hire" the guy. aside from the technical traders in the room, from my own standpoint, i appreciate those that bring news to the room. as a chart reader its something i have difficulty monitoring if not for the room members. do i trade news? usually only if i like the chart as well. if the room was to go fee based, i'd stop going. that's up to a handful of people, not me. could they charge for it, probably. i would guess it would be successful. is it in the cards? who knows. as it is now, there are alot of people there with one common goal, make money. there are alot of people there who are willing to share their experience. there's alot of "free" sharing of information throughout the day on a variety of topics ranging from visual setups, technical indicators, stock selections, etc. one event coming up is an options discussion. there's no fee to attend, just people willing to take the time to educate. milesov
