OT: All anti-war activists should be hanged for treason or shot. It could be done in stadiums and broadcast on Fox TV. In fact, any anti-government protesters should be rounded up and shot. Americans have to take steps to keep our country great, and that means weeding out activists, Communists, leftists, peaceniks, Jane Fonda apologists, Clinton lovers, draft dodgers, etc. Some Americans might not understand the need for this, because they're ignorant of global issues. They live soft lives. They don't know how things are done around the world. Maybe they should be shot and/or hanged, too, or they could be garroted, to lend variety to the Fox TV executions. I'm glad the level of discussion has improved on this list. I think O'Reilly should be the host of the new show. I think it'll receive top ratings. It'll take people's minds off other problems and be good for the market. So this note wasn't entirely off topic after all. I'm heading for recreation room now.

OT OT Haim, We'll agree to disagree about Fonda. She was certainly arrogant and provocative, and I won't defend her methods. As to Secretary Powell, my understanding is that he's read the McMaster book, and has absorbed the lessons contained therein. He has my full support in his efforts today, as he did during the Gulf War. I grateful he's in a leadership position during our current crisis. -Ray
