B: SunnComm Receives $4 Million for Digital Content Security License

PHOENIX, Nov 6, 2001 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- SunnComm, Inc. (OTC:SUNX), a leader in digital content security for optical media, today announced that it has licensed its Proprietary Copy Management Technology to Dstage.com, Inc. (OTCBB:DSTG) for a one-time fee of $4,000,000.

Designed to inhibit digital intellectual property from unauthorized duplication, this special licensing will enable Dstage to integrate the SunnComm technology exclusively for media player applications. This will insure that compilation
discs and copies made and managed using the Dstage media player currently under development cannot, themselves, be duplicated.

"Our digital content security for optical media will enable Dstage to integrate its media player applications with our technology, thereby substantially extending the CD user experience," SunnComm's President, Peter H. Jacobs stated.
"The prospects of licensing parts of our latest CD protection and enhancement technology with other unique, complementary applications that exist in the world today creates opportunities for SunnComm to leverage its technology into the marketplace thus benefiting music CD buyers, record labels, and SUNX shareholders."

According to Dstage President Sue Perrault "The rights management and copy protection space is still being defined, with billions at stake for publishers, artists and developers. As with most early growth industries, the question is simply not who will be first to market with a solution. Instead, the issues are what solution will add the most value, be deployed most efficiently, and reliably protect rights over the long term without risking the user experience.

We believe that SunnComm's technology goes a long way in answering these questions. Combining this power with certain other solutions should complete thejourney."
