Agree. I would be surprised if Gore resurfaced as the Democratic candidate for president in '04. Kerry, Edwards, Bayh are attractive in the Senate. Of those three, the most electable might be Edwards of N.C. If the economy is healthy again in '03 and the War on Terrorism under control, then Democratic candidates may shy away from a run in '04 and instead take on Hillary in the primaries in '08. I wouldn't be surprised if Lieberman is the Democrats' standard-bearer in '04.
