Rental trucks are a lot like rental cars, I think -- if you keep them longer than you'd originally planned, you just pay extra.

From the news accounts of the 9.11 gang, it appears that OBL paid his bills -- avoided attention and suspicion. I would doubt that they would risk detection and attention by making off with a rental truck or failing to pay a rental bill. JMHO.
