Dealie, Playing goalie has its advantages...first, you have the most padding of anyone on the team...that's the good news..the bad news is that the average speed of a shot is between 90-110 mph. Now for your questions: Do I get 3 strikes?.......no Will someone be kicking the ball over me?...no but they might kick at you. How many free shots do I get on a foul? Actually there is a penalty shot in hockey....but it would be coming at you! Can I wear roller skates?...you will be playing on a surface of ice...could be difficult with wheels. I won't get hurt will I???? maybe.... Don't worry Dealie, you'll make a great keeper...the whole team voted for you. Coach Altair
