Right is right and Vietnam was WRONG.
Anyone who thinks Vietnam was was right has their head up their ass. Like I said, however, I have admiration for thoise that believe it was their duty to serve and did so for that reason.

I also believ, it is simply too bad that 100% did not refuse to fight that stupid war.

If we wanted to win it, we should have. It was winable IMHO.
Flatten Hanoi, end of story. One bomb would have done it.

If we did not want to do what it took to win it we never should have been there in the first place.
I made up my mind I was not going. PERIOD.
Fortunately my lottery number was such that I was safe.
One never really knows what one will do until the time comes, but I was determined not to go.

We started seeing the light, beginning in 68.
It took guts to do what Jane Fonda did.
I have not much problem with it at all.
Had it not been for stuff like that, and protests, etc etc, we might have remained stuck in a quagmire for 4 more years than we were. For what?

FOR NOTHING.
No national interests were at stake.
We had no business being there.
Many problems the US has in this world are because we make everyone's problems our own.
