You are simply ignorant of the facts. Any tax relief for higher tax rate citizens is to be phased in over years. The only tax reductions this year applied to the LOWEST BRACKET. why was Boy George so eager to earmark the so-called "budget surplus" his first few months in office to benefit the wealthiest of the wealthy?

Of course it was true. You were one of those screamers. And you can't be as stupid as you sound - the tax cuts have made the Clinton recession less severe. Clinton left the highest tax burden in US peacetime history. Every economist would agree that running gov't. surpluses in the time of a recession is just plain stupid. And remember, FDR didn't get blamed for Hoover's depression (even though FDR made it much worse), just as Bush isn't getting any blame for Clinton's. btw, how many times did you vote in VA? Still, Warner did much poorer than expected after spending a decade and unrivaled millions - Warner ran 200,000 votes behind the GOP AG elect Jerry W. Kilgore and lost the General Assembly HUGE - the VA GOP now has about 2/3 there - the most in history.
