SECURITY is exactly what I have been urging for months as the way to market cellphones and new gen of service. Sprint should move quickly and advertise Security, Location, GPS and tag line and you get "data rates of * kbps, X times faster than your 56K modem at home." Data is not the selling point, at least now. Just think of the number of folks who buy cellphones for their spouses, children, elderly parents for SECURITY.
