Jacob, I read the post you referenced. If this indicator is correct we should fall back to about $12/share.

6. P/S ratio is at the lower end of the historical range. For AMAT, fair value (where the stock stays most of the time) is in a P/S ratio of 2-3.5 (this corresponds to a stock price of 26-45). Notice that the lower end of that range corresponds nicely with the 12/97 and 1/98 lows, which we almost reached again recently

We seem to be approaching a P/S ratio of about 7 based on this quarters annualized revenue run rate.

In any case its hard to make a bullish case at AMAT's current price with next years P/E about 100 and a long term growth rate of 25 to 30 percent.
