T, Great idea. We had a very active thread on Prodigy. Of course, the fact that Robert Parker occasionally participated brought in winos, er, oenophiles, from all parts of the world. I know Parker was paid a fee by Prodigy and that he got to advertise his Wine Advocate, but he gave above and beyond, IMHO. Especially given the fact that many people took shots at him. Many wine lovers have the cranky personalities of Dell thread habitues. <g> And many of them are so jealous of Parker that it really eats into them. I'm kind of jealous, too. Getting rich by drinking wine seems incredibly unfair. But I liked the guy despite my jealousy.
