The only problem for the bear case is that no one with any brains sees big downside risk here, at least not to new lows. Of course, that could set up the possibility - absolutely no one expects it, not even da bearz.

I agree about hoarding cash. Am hunkering down too. I hope it's not the case, but I think this could get very scary.

Discount rate at its lowest since a brief period in 1954. Before that, you have to go to the late 1940s, when we were still in deflation.

They dumped anything defensive today, from domestic security to gold. A very good sign of a coming top, methinks.
