I'm more than 40% up from on AMD from when I bought it after the 9/11 attacks. I'll ride the roller coaster during the upturns, but I'm still not looking to keep it long term. I'm waiting for a good exit point, which I'm guessing will be a quarter or two into next year (which is when I expect the market to rally due to comforting economic news). The down turn won't last forever; I think now's the best time to buy into any of the large cap tech stocks, CSCO, SUNW, HWP, INTC, etc.
