The Tollgate is still there, unchanged, but there is less traffic through it. A predictable and inevitable result of recession. And a predictable result of other parallel highways with no big immediate toll fees. FWIW, QCOM has to subsidize these offshore carriers in order to get somebody in the various places to be a CDMA carrier. Agree w. those who say they are lousy at it, so have been many others (Telsim, anyone?) Anyway, this is maybe the wake-up call that QCOM is the Apple Computer of wireless - great technology, wonderful stuff, but it just never gets over the eps hump.
