I, for one, would appreciate not making references to bridges blowing up. Especially those that we use every day.
Your perogative, of course.

I think I am very realistic. I realize that something has to give. Unlike you, however, I don't think that a complete collapse of the financial system is a forgone conclusion.(ie. runs of the banks, 10% unemployment, breadlines etc.) I think it is more likely that we see a multiyear stagnation and Japan like decline in the equities markets.(S&P at 600-700). If I was not clear enough about my pessimism about the current situation, I hope this fixes that. Lots of pain but I don't think the S&P will see 140. Do you?
