Does anybody know why SI charts are not fully updated at the close of the day. EG. IBM closed at 114.19 but the chart shows approx. 113.80 Even the indices are not fully up dated until the following day. Curious.

My view is very simple... the market was expecting 1/4% and got 1/2. It was a surprise.

Now tomorrow, when there is time to reflect, somebody will say... THE MARKET MUST BE IN PRETTY BAD SHAPE FOR A 1/2 POINT RATE CUT.

Then boom... a 200 point drop.

Happened before, will it happen again?
