One diference with this "banana regime coup" is that the leader has 87% approval rating. Clinton was very lucky to have Greenspan and all the productivity improvements during his sleazy time in the White House. If you know anything at all about capitalist economics, you would know that all expansions end with recessions that then end and another expansion begins. Whoever is President doesn't have control over those economic cycles. To call this a Bush recession is very disingenuous.

The Clinton/Gore recession will be shortlived due to the steady hand and excellent guidance of Team Bush....
