Um, well, i might have known that and momentarily forgotten ... actually i've seen US classrooms, got taken as exhibit to Show 'n Tell a time or two .. or something '1/16 Clan Graham' - see what i mean, all you gringos are related ... which makes it hard to explain a lot of stuff you do, imho ... on tv tonight, just finished, there was the second part of a piece on canadians in WWI, battle of Vimy ridge in this half ... many scots, and scots names of regiments, with indians and metis and japanese in them [thirty-five can-japanese killed at Vimy] and ukrainians, you name it ... defining day for the nation, 09/04/17, first time together under our own command, we were led in typical canadian fashion by an ex-real estate broker, and we got the respect of Ludendorff [it was his birthday] ... and got known as distinctive by others - one time in Punch during the earlier part of that war there was a cartoon of a canadian general prepping his troops for a visit by the brit high command, he's got them lined up and says 'One thing more boys, when the brigadier is here you're not to call me Alf' You know that flag you people have, says 'don't tread on me' .... well i propose that British Columbia commission one, on a union jack - 'take this plank and shove it'
