<<Thus... "forcing" these saving funds to seek a better return... the size of "these funds" is said to be six TRILLION dollars.>> we need a new figure update. That 6-trillion figure should have dropped down by now.But i was doing some dinner time chatter and saying how dangerous this "FORCE PEOPLE TO BUY STOCKS" if it does not pan out, giving the huge leveraging going on.
Consumer is under pressure,AG forces consumers to give up safe saving of money by annihilating yields on bonds/money mart, etc.
So AG FORCES money into stocks eventhough based on economy it is NOT wise and thus starts a new BUBBLE.
If ANYTHING causes a retest of lows Greenspan has once again,in his obsession with the stock market managed to VAPORIZE peoples money and thus intensify consumer pressure.
I hereby state that Greenspan remains so obsessed with the now he his destroying the future,in my opinion.
This whole game to force consumers to put money at risk in a dangerous market and also to turn to cash home equity in hope consumers spend it is all a massive quick fix concept that if a fails will leave a crater.
We,imo, are in the hands of a Missippi Gambler, and if he loses, everybody will lose, and that isn't good.Max p.s. i feel the biggest problem may be that americans don't have the discipline to handle pain and thus by delaying pain we are heading for possible major pain.
