a fist sized diamond would explain why the DB exploration head is hanging around so much these past few weeks. Any idea about whether it was gem or industrial grade?
Ekati pulled out a 180ct stone last yr - but it was industrial - so it never made any headlines - a gem sized fist would make some news though!

There may be a fist sized diamond somewhere but I'm tracking
the Manitoba players and this a.m. their prices hadn't
moved. Still in pennies. I lived in the Wekusko lake
area many years ago, Snow Lake, Tramping Lake. We took
beautiful clustered garnets out of the area. Miners
were looking for base metals. Since then some searching
for diamonds. A coupleof rumours have circulated over the
last five years. Nothing has come of them.
