...seems the crowd is looking for a recovery in the 2nd Qtr'02 for the econ given the action in stox. Good news is good news, and bad news is good news for equity prices lately. I'm a bit perplexed on the .50 cut here. What is the plan, 4 more meetings and were done? Japan-o-nomics? Why not wait to see how the 9 cuts and the "30y Bond Trix" pan out over the next 3-6M before you shoot your wad? I guess this is the typical FED going too far. My main worry is what if it don't work...then what... TVA type programs? I haven't traded anything the last several weeks...which is good cuz i wasn't short..but bad cuz I wasn't long much either.
