Yes they are. And it very well may be that AMD will exceed that. But, Tualatin seems to draw an awful lot of power for a 0.13 micron shrink, even if you factor in the extra cache. There are reasons to believe that transistor leakage only gets worse with smaller geometries, and that might be the problem.

Oh, have you been entering the drawings for the AthlonXP? I just got a notice that I won a processor/motherboard/heat sink...
