Chung Hwa Telecom International to Deploy Juniper Networks M160 Routers for Its Data Center Juniper Networks Places Chung Hwa Telecom -- International at the Forefront of Asia Data Centers SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 7, 2001-- Juniper Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq:JNPR - news), a leading provider of next-generation Internet Protocol (IP) infrastructure systems, and Chung Hwa Telecom, the largest telecom operator in Taiwan, today announced that Chung Hwa Telecom International has deployed Juniper Networks M160 Internet routers in its International Data Center. (CHT-I D.C.) To complement its existing network of Hinet and TWGate, Chung Hwa Telecom International has built a new Data Center employing the Juniper Networks M-series routers, which enable a direct connection to other regional data centers. During the initial phase, CHT-I D.C. is looking at opportunities to collaborate with several top-tier regional International Data Centers (IDCs) for direct connections that it is set to roll out later. This will provide CHT-I D.C.
