FWIW, I am NOT going long at this point because:
1. I got suckered into playing the long side back in April and do not want to repeat the same mistake (assuming it will be a mistake).
2. Valuations matter regardless of what momentum is telling us at the moment. PE apparently didn't matter back in 1999...but it ultimately did.
3. Junk bonds doing nothing.
4. Long term downtrend line still holding.
5. Various indicators I follow are telling we be overbought.
6. Respect Zeev's record (reserve the right to change that at any moment! :).
7. Acccpet Bollinger's and McClellan's hypothesis that we are headed into a very long (10 years +) trading range bear.
8. Most importantly...I am not willing to risk one dime on this current market environment long term. Couldn't sleep at night.

Off to tend to other chores.
