While nForce might miss some Christmas sales (not me as I have two boards on order) it looks as if Intel consumers will be getting screwed with the same core (not to mention P4/SDRAM combination) as Northwood is nowhere to be seen until the first quarter.

I've always thought that nVidia's best chance for success in the nForce chipset is to agree to Intel's licensing terms, and make a chipset for the higher volume Pentium 4. Those dual DDR channels may even get some better use, if they did that.

Yeah.

The AMDroids were wetting there diapers about 4 months ago - in anticipation of the nFarce chip set getting out in time for the "Back To School" season.

And now it's LATE - almost out - and just another chip set - that will cut the profits on all the other chipo set vendors.
