One thing I have been thinking since yesterday is I commend Alan Greenspan. The man is showing no fear! Despite the fact that our economy is really in the shitter and we face a lot of uncertainitys; a prolonged recession amongst the biggest concerns, he comes out with his pistols blazing. With yesterday's 50BP cut and 10 cuts in as many months bringing down the fed funds rate to 2% he is not afraid to do what ever is in his powers to jump start this country into another spending free for all. To hell with saving your money. Get out there and spend. To the corporations and individuals, forget about your debts, go out there and spend. It is the American way. And this is America. We can reinflate the bubble. Make it better, faster stronger<enter new theme song for 6 trillion dollar man> It now appears he is not afraid to take interest rates to 0% if that is what he must do. My only question is why piddle around with these 1/2% cuts? It is only slowing down the process. If he just goes right to 0% than no one will be holding out on him, waiting for the next cut for money to get cheaper. We will spend, spend, spend. And yes, that is our duty as Americans to spend.
