Zoltan digs deeper than anyone on this thread to turn a loss into a victory ... to turn a truth into an untruth ... in some distorted way.

Warner was always ahead in the polls. And he had been running for most of a decade. He did much worse than predicted and lost the House of Delegates so badly - the Dems in VA are at their lowest level in history. Warner had negative coattails.

The GOP defeated itself in VA. Even with all of Warner's millions - the record - he would have been defeated if the GOP had united. The GOP candidate for AG easily topped Warner by hundreds of thousands of votes. And remember, Warner essentially ran as a Republican.

Like 9/11, VA and NJ are a message to nation - evil will triumph if good men do nothing.
