That's the Daschle plan - screw the economy with useless welfare spending. But Daschle will lose that battle.

Besides, Edwards is not a viable candidate in an adult world.

Remember, Clinton won his 43% because Reagan had won the Cold War and the nation didn't feel it needed a serious leader and the GOP was mad at GHWB for caving to the corrupt Dems.

Kerry is unviable because he is so ugly and from Massachusetts.

At this juncture these polls are meaningless. Let's be real. If Bush is perceived to have done a good job on the economy and the terrorists, Jesus Christ won't be able to beat him and if the economy continues to tank and he blows the war, he could lose to Osama.
