We're sort of in the same boat there.

we have a large area rug in ours. But that's because We got new carpeting for the basement and this old thing(which by my standards is in great shape and didn't need to be replaced-see we do our part also to support the bubble) was scheduled for the end of the drive way for any passer by.

I said screw that. and unrolled it in the garage, and there it lays. Mrs. West thought me nuts at the time. Now she likes it.

Sucks though in winter as the drivers two tires set about two feet into the rug and it gets all nasty during winter. This will be winter number three it's been there. It might be its last too.

Similar situation with this other rug out in the back yard. Use to be under the table in the dining room. I didn't like the idea of throwing it out, though the stains were pretty bad with the daughters destroying it on a regular basis.

Any how, stuck thatoutside by the hot tub. This was its second summer. I noticed some weeds poking through it this summer. Next summer it gets moved to the woods. It will make a great fort rug.

And I will have a nice patch of soil where it was! So I don't have to tear up the sod in that area when I put the brick patio in next summer. Again, the wife thinks me nuts, but a reason for everything I do. Not always a good reason, yea always a reason.
