Thanks for the links... I missed those programs. Have you ever noticed that Said uses his own, exaggerated numbers for the Mideast conflict? And no one ever calls him on the discrepancy, presumably because he's a distinguished professor. Some examples from the interview: Said says there are 7.5 million Palestinian refugees. Arafat says there are 5 million. UNWRA says there are 3.7 million. Said says there are 400,000 Israeli settlers in the West Bank and Gaza. Israel says there are 223,000. Saeb Erekat says there are over 200,000. Said says that 120,000 Arabs remained in Israel after 1948. The Israeli census of 1949 listed 160,000.
