Conference call highlights. 3rd quarter loss at $7.13M or .13 cents per share (street consensus was .16 cents per share). This excludes unusual items of Liberty Livewire warrant write down, lease relocation and employee severance charges nearly all of which are non-cash items.

Looks likely that cash burn will drop to $5.0M or .09 cents per share in December quarter. Cash position will improve in 4th quarter by about $9.0M due to lease relocation (must be their bond money??) and quarterly lease expenses will drop by $2.0M (if I understood the point correctly). Means that cash will increase to $85.0M. Revenues look like they will hang around the current level of $3.3M That will make annualized revenues come in at about $14.1M (early in the year we were expecting around $20.0M before the economy seriously tanked).

From an accounting point of view these numbers are very good and show that the (real cash)balance sheet has improved significantly and that the restructuring has been well executed.

Now to sales. SpotOn has passed all passed quality control issues, is fully tested and now operating at AT&T facility in Colorado (and also integrated into Gemstar IPG). This indicates that the trials must be going well and that other MSO's (both cable and satellite) are now viewing SpotOn in full operating mode. An interesting point raised during the conference call concerned Anthrax. We now have a very powerful, fully operational marketing tool that completely bypasses the mail system and goes straight into many homes at a fraction of the cost of traditional direct mail. We may just be in the right place at the right time! Also mentioned Liberty move into European cable systems and our ability to sell SpotOn into those systems.

The Disney litigation involves three patents in the enhanced media area and hopes are high for a win over Disney.
