Eric L: TMF Otter (Bill Mann) has a couple of points which are worth noting, yes.

Anyone though who focuses on the "bridge" laid out in the financials has more raw material for meaningful financial analysis than is typical - which Bill says at the opening part of his piece.

But again, this is all hardly key to understanding Qualcomm or a reason to invest or not to invest in Qualcomm. It is chaff, the wheat is CDMA itself - it's status now, it's prospects and that CDMA is, repeat is, Qualcomm. And the obverse, Qualcomm is CDMA.

That is where the focus needs to be.

(As you know well of course)

Best as always.

PS While I am using shorthand here and brevity, what I am suggesting is that the substance - the fundamentals are key.
