You got me so curious I pulled out my Steve Nison book.
I am always still learning and that's why I post stuff -
I need to know if I'm interpreting signals correctly. Especially in this market <g>

He says they occur when the market opens at the low of the session and then rallies to a new high before pulling back to the days lows. The longer the upper shadow the more bearish.

His opinion of a gravestone doji differs totally from Litwick, his require very little candle body or none at all - opening and closing prices are the same or very close.
Even that candle on 10/26 might not qualify as a real one.

What litwick shows in that example I posted is at least 1/3 candle.

I'm going to read up and look for that candle. If I'm lucky, maybe Donald will post and tell us what it is!
