Actually, I realize that even if the 45 patient, 3 center trial is a large, multi-center trial, the goals of this trial don't fit well with your hypothesis that Reolysin will not be able to help patients live longer. Survival is not one of the measured endpoints of this trial, so the size and multi-centeredness of this particular trial is a moot point. Cheers, P.D.T.

Good luck. You've placed your investment bucks in the hands of rank amateurs. I hope that the experience turns out to be a good one. We can use a cancer cure or two, and this one has fun biology behind it. We heard similar noises, and great claims, from Onyx. So you'll have to excuse the "jade". I've made my call. If I'm wrong, be sure to hurry back and let me know. Despite what Dr. Thompson says, you won't be back until 2005 at the earliest. That's the very best "pompous ass" that I can do, hope it's sufficient. Next time that you show up in a thread and ask for opinions?
